Nike padded confidently through the dry lands. A lights crunch sound followed each and everyone of her paw steps. A slight breeze pushed from behind bringing faint scents and a cool air. Her short fur allowed small passage to her under-layers the breeze was much welcomed in such conditions. She studied the land before her, it was for the most part tall rising grass, and hardy trees. She noted the lack of prey and grew a bit wary, that was a bit unatural for an area such as this. Her ears drew back slightly. She glanced over her shoulder, nothing. Letting out a sigh she hoped to shake the feeling of dread. Trotting onward she lowered her head to the earth, sniffing deeply. She gave a small smile, she could scent it. Devils Claw. A herb she had learned of in her younger years, it was used to treat head pains or pain in general. She became unaware of her suroundings as she was engulfed in the search of the herb. Then she went ridged. A scent was carried on the wind from behind. Ears pulling back to the sides of her scull she crouched low, "Who goes there?"she said with a voice full of fear. She scented male, and that made her grow frightened. |

His actions. "He speaks." He ponders. Akuma was close to his lands, not too far. He wanted to make sure he was always available for his family. Today he was actually thinking about speaking to some of the lionesses, and encouraging them all to go for a hunt together. He stalked the grounds, listening for anything that might be of some trouble. Not too far from where he was, there was a lioness. Her voice startled him as he was not expecting it to be so demanding. This was his land, not hers. His first instinct was to growl and roar. He just allowed the growl to be released. His mouth opened slightly, showing his sharpened blood-stained teeth to the world. Akuma whipped around and moved for the lioness. Nobody was going to speak to him in that way. "These are not your lands to make such demands." He roared in front of her, showing her that he was not afraid to stand up for what was his. His silver eyes glared at the other. His muscles tightened as he stood before her. "Give me a reason not to force you from my home, now!" He was incredibly mad, more mad than he had been in years. Who was she to think she could demand such a thing of him? Lol I can tell this was a great Idea | Judge the world though another's eyes | |
The female stood and felt frantic. Not only was this a rather large lion, he seemed furioius for her rather straight forward question. As he growled and drew closer, she crouched ridged with fear. Her body started to shake, in small tremors. He started to get louder and more forceful. She drew back, and stayed low. He presented his teeth in a rather grand and terrifying fashion. She studied the earth at her paws shaking, fear over taking all reasonble thoughts. Intaking rasp and forced breaths she forced her self to stand up. Still looking downwards she pulled back another quick step. "I didn't realize the land had been claimed" she offered with a quick voice. Looking up to meet his gaze she started to grow slightly angery with her self and this male. So what if he had a pride, talking to someone so rashly was beyond her. She narrowed her optics slightly. "No need for a reason, after I collect this" she guestured to the herb she had dropped now at his paws. "I will be out of your fur and you'll have the pleasure of never seeing me again" |

His actions. "He speaks." He ponders. Somehow this lioness could not tell that this land belonged to not only a pride, but his pride. Maybe she had lied to save her hide, or she was serious. He was unsure what the real thing was, but he was all about second chances. He relaxed and looked to her. The anger was still slightly there as he could not simply flip a switch and be completely different. "I do not mind you collecting your herbs.. What does bother me is that you came into my lands, whether you knew it or not and you commanded something from me. I make the commands in these lands. If you want to be a part of this pride, you have to follow my commands. Not your own." He gave a stern look to her, letting her know he was serious. He was trying to come up with the right words in his head, but nothing seemed to be fitting correctly. "Not always are first impressions the only ones to make a difference. I believe in second chances, no matter what the real reason is that you got here. I am Akuma, and this is Dakarai. If you do not wish to join us, then you can go about your way, with your herbs. It's not bother to me."Words: 217 Tags: Nike Notes: Table by King Akuma
