Many weeks have passed since separation from Kanabor, but at least he could think straight now and could resume his train of thought. The universe was a complex place and he intended to learn everything about it. She always meant well, yet she was constantly gnawing on his tail or surprise pouncing him to go on a trek with her. It commonly was somewhere that held no true adventure since neither were willing to kill anyone who stood in their way just for a joyride just to rush home. All lives are important, even the scrap-eating hyenas and the cheeky leopards that he crossed occasionally. Life was a gift not to be wasted, but celebrated.
The flora in the area was alluring and aromatic; a place that might bring up a Rain Dancer, or what would be the wisest and best healer in his Nzuri na Nguvu. Of course, the pride was in construction, the king the only member as far, but it would be a place where those who wanted away from their pasts or from the harsh world fabled by his elders. One and all would see him for righteous judgement and exiled shall only receive little amounts of resources and be sent their own way; crimes must be paid for although the struggle of hunting alone was understandable. A rustle above his skull made Aslan fleet to swerve his sight upward, seeing nothing more that might've made that noise but the wind.
[hope this works out;anyone welcome]

His actions. "He speaks." He ponders. Golden orbs stared out over the Savannah from the protection of a tree. The branches helped to keep the predator hidden. He peered through the leaves and branches, waiting for the next prey animals to come along - or at least something to entertain him. Shao'Jin stared down to the ground, his chin rested on the branch beneath him. As he yawned, he lifted his head ever so slightly and then laid it down again. He was rather bored. His tail whisked from side to side, slashing in anticipation and disgust. Why was nothing coming his way? But then the sun shone down on him and the gods answered his prayers. A lion appeared. It was not common for Shao to want to get involved with the other felines - in fact he normally didn't. But today was to be different. His course tongue swiped over his lips and pulled back into his mouth. Taking interest in the lone male forced the leopard to climb down from his tree. He lowered his body to the ground, hiding himself within the flora. His ears pressed to his head, and his tail stayed close to his body. He approached from behind, looking at the rear of the creature. "Are you lost?"Words: 207 Tags: Aslan Notes: Welcome to OTP

Aslan was calm as ever, clearing his thoughts and mind for the task ahead of him, a life all planned and prepared, but a voice caught his attention. His heterochromic gaze glanced all around himself to try and gain a location on the voice. His search came up empty-handed, yet he was not frantic for a face. “Not exactly,” He replied, stilling his legs into a calm pose,“I was hoping to make a friend or follower. Happen to know anyone willing?” The Transvaal lion smiled, waving his positivity so the owner of the voice could see wherever he lay. His ears flicked, tuft and proud mane blowing the feeble wind, scents strolling through the air without a single care in the world.
It may’ve just been that section of the land was newer to him and it was something common a stranger would be alarmed to, but a creature unfamiliar to him had been detected, making the future royal curious. “May I be so bold as to ask what you are? I don’t think a lion could hide this well from me in this unfamiliar territory and the scent of lions is familiar to me. Either you are a mastermind in spy-work or you aren’t exactly what I am.” If this was someone he could accept openly into a group, then he, or the highly unlikely possibility of the onlooker is a lioness could be a very worthy adversary to have for the sake of protecting his imaginary kingdom. Aslan was patient, taking a seat upon small cushioning grass blades, eager to continue talking to the unknown. His tongue slobbered over his left paw, saliva coating his front foot before heaving it over his crown and swiping over his facial fur, repeating the process, listening attentively.

His actions. "He speaks." He ponders. Thinking of how to respond to the lion, he began to clean his paw. His raspy tongue pushed through the toe and licked the fur to a pleasant point. He listened to the other, who was looking for more like him. So he was alone. This amused the leopard as he gleamed down to the other. He continued to lick his paw as he watched the other. This one seemed not to care that he was being watched by something, nor that he knew what the thing was. "No, I do not personally know any who would wish to become part of your gang or whatever you call it." He continued to lick his paw until it was proficient, and completely clean. He moved onto his next paw and continued on his way. His eyes stayed on the lion, however. "You and I are not alike. Felines yes, but that is the only thing that connects us." When he finished licking his paws, he placed them both down onto the branch. His tail curled up to his rump and rested there. "Aren't you the least bit worried I am a danger to your health?" He mused to the other, curious as to what his response would be. He wanted to know everything he could about this lion. He already knew he was completely alone. He could be a good target.
